The wretched way of the world today

Reader comment on item: White House Nonchalance toward the Middle East
in response to reader comment: to HARRAK - Muslim invaders killed Hindus in millions

The fact is , Milind, what you have said about the Muslim conquest is true beyond doubt - millions of innocent Indian Hindus and Buddhists were slaughtered and raped during the Muslim conquests. Sikh gurus were murdered by the Mughals for no good reason. The vile barbarians who came here singlehandedly ruined the great peacetime efforts of medieval India.

But are us Hindus completely absolved of blame? In response, we see today the murders in Gujarat, the murders during the partition, how is this justified?

See, this is the world we live in today. A world filled with hate. A world full of violence. A world which, if nothing changes, is destined to fall to pieces in the near future. For the killing the muslim commits, the hindu will kill. And the cycle goes on. Can we not see this in Africa? The africans who were brutalised and oppressed under the whites are now committing atrocities against them in Zimbabwe. How can we justify this today? And of course in Darfur. For the atrocities the Janjaweed perpetrate in Darfur, no doubt the rebels will extract brutal revenge.

The only way this accursed world can change is through equality and justice with an iron fist. And by this I do not mean the use of non-violence. The great efforts of moral giants like Gandhi, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Martin Luther King have been defaced by the disgraced dirt we call society today. We need an international body, that will crush ANY extremist or radical movement bent on discrimitnation, whatever their religion or background, with REAL force. Anyone inciting violence to other humans MUST BE PUT DOWN LIKE THE DOGS THEY ARE, without mercy. This is the only way we can heal this world which we as a race have managed to ruin so catastrophically.
