So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] places [and usage] and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. (5:13)

And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah" So how are they deluded? And his [Muhammad] saying, "O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe". So turn aside from them and say, "Peace." But they are going to know. (43:89)

So by mercy from Allah , [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from around you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely on Allah . Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [on Him]. (3:159)

Say to those who have disbelieved, if they cease (from disbelief) their past will be forgiven. But if they return (thereto), then the examples of those (punished) before them have already preceded (as a warning). (8:38)

And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. (15:85)

Prophet Muhammad was merciful even on his enemies, he prayed to Go for their guidance and forgiveness

And whatever you bring I bring better than you

God forgive you for you know not the truth
