Perhaps the civilized world has got to seek a paradigm change.

Reader comment on item: Arguing over "Can Islam Be Reformed?"

Submitted by Jon, a Brit in Euroland (France), Oct 4, 2013 at 10:18

After more than half a century of increasing violence from Muslims, simultaneously with a massive movement against violence and war (which has it's ups and downs), every possible solution has got to be tried.

Seems to me that perhaps if a huge effort and significant resources were put in a massive campaign to convert Moslems to something more "cuddly"... Not something monotheistic, necessarily, perhaps a religion based on fairly simple structures might be more successful, something which addresses the discrimination against women, and the indoctrination of kids into violence...

Condomblé perhaps, Hinduism maybe.... (Zen too much to pray for..)
