Reader comment on item: Arguing over "Can Islam Be Reformed?"

Why is it that we in the west are trying to figure out solutions for the problem of Islam? Islam doesn't seem tho think that there is a problem. Muslims are simply following the agenda of the Quran (9:29) to fight the people of the book unless they submit or pay the tax. The only way to rid the world of this menace is not by kowtowing to Islamic supremacy, but to tell the truth about Islam the way it was meant to be told, that is to stop trying to make excuses for the blatant violence that is being practiced on us kafirs every day of the week, some w hare in the world, by islamists hell bent on eradicating the world off kafirs. Did we make excuses for the Nazism during the world wars. Islam does not need to be reformed but it needs eventually die out, so that the civilized world may live and work in peace without the threat of being wiped out.
