Reader comment on item: Arguing over "Can Islam Be Reformed?"
in response to reader comment: either Villain or a believer

Our dear GoD is not happy that it says in Q14:4 that Allah guides whom ever he wants and leads astray whom ever he wants thank you Allah for making me a big time kafir

But you see Dhammi

Yes our dear GoD who lives among kuffar and not among his Arab masters and i wonder why

God says

Is that Allah?

وهديناه النجدين"and We have shown him the two ways {Good and evil}" (verse 90:10

Really? well let us see what it says;

1. وهديناه means and we gifted him

2. النجدين no one had a clue what this word means al-Tabari believes that it means an ascending path

3. So where would i find evil or good in the aya? you will not find either word. Your translation is shameful

Here is what al-Tabari says

وَقَوْله : { وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ } يَقُول تَعَالَى ذِكْره : وَهَدَيْنَاهُ الطَّرِيقَيْنِ , وَنَجْد : طَرِيق فِي اِرْتِفَاع . وَاخْتَلَفَ أَهْل التَّأْوِيل فِي مَعْنَى ذَلِكَ , فَقَالَ بَعْضهمْ : عُنِيَ بِذَلِكَ : نَجْد الْخَيْر , وَنَجْد الشَّرّ , كَمَا قَالَ : { إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيل إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا }

Or and his saying that we gifted him the two najdayn we gifted him the two ways and the najd is an ascending path and the Ulama (gasp!) did not agree on what this means and some said the najd of the plenty and najd of the evil and others said we gave him a path either the path of thanking or the path of unbelieving

Do you know what this means? It does not say any where that man can select which path to follow this means that Allah leads human beings astary and in the direction of evil! What a disaster Allah leads men astray

Thank you Allah for leading me astray

and God says إنا هديناه السبيل، إما شاكرا أو كفورا"Indeed, We have shown him the way, either he be grateful or disbelieving" (verse 76:2

Our dear GoD realized that Q90:12 really means that Allah is the source of the evil and the good which means that Allah pre-plans every thing

Well let us see what al-Tabari says about this little gem

إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيل , إِمَّا شَقِيًّا وَإِمَّا سَعِيدًا

Or Truly we gifted him EITHER the hardship or the happiness

I do not see anything about free will here

It is your Allah is saying that he pre-plans everthing and not me who is saying that

And why would your Allah leads human beings in the path of hardship unless he is evil?

it is up to you you either a villain or grateful for God's bount

Now I just proved to you that you claim is bogus

Now we know what you are

Again thank you Allah for making me a big time kafir
