in response to reader comment: As trustworthy as it gets...

The Prophet Muhammad made many miracles and prophecies during his life time; these miracles and prophecies were recorded during his life and narrated by his companions and followers and none of them rejected, contradicted or denied the incidents and the sayings. It proves his true nature as a great prophet of God and proves the existence of God and the truth about the Message the prophet brought from God. Almost all narrations of the Prophet Traditions, miracles and prophecies were related to us through trustworthy chain of narrators. After the death of the Prophet there were 4000 of his contemporary companions who lived after him and they related many of the traditions of the Prophet. Islamic Scholars recorded more than a thousand miracles that would require several volumes to detail them all.

it is recorded that Prophet Muhammad stayed in Makkah 13 years not fighting the unblievers (his tribe) who tortured the new Muslims. everytime the Muslims ask him to retaliate he refused and everytime they ask him to invoke God against them, he used to ask God for their forgiveness because they don't know and to guide them to the truth. he refused to fight because according to him, he was not authorised by God to do so. after migration to Madinah (fleeing persecutions) the command to fight those who fight you was revealed to him.

in the battle of Badr, the unbelievers wanted to eradicate Islam, Muhammad and the whole Muslims and the Prophet mission once for all, they gathered over 1000 fighters well equipped, the Muslims were 300 and badly equipped. The Muslims won the war, by the Will of God, a Muslim said in a recorded Hadith, "I saw two men in very white shining garments guarding the Prophet from his right and from his left" later the prophet said that they were the Angels Gabiel and Michael , another recorded hadith mentioned that one of the Muslims was about to strike the neck of unbeleiver, when he saw the unbeliever falling down on the ground without his head even before he could touch him, then he heard sounds of horses above him in the clouds

God sent angels to fight with Muslims, - the verses you sent about fight are fighting those who fight you and DO NOT aggress. these are the teachings of Islam, Prophet Muhammad said, "when you are in a battle, do not kill women or children or old men who are not fighting you, not even priests in their churches or Rabbis in their synagogues, do not kill animals, do not cut trees, fight only those who fight you"

The message of Islam and Prophet Muhammad is to save humanity, God says in the Holy Quran "whoever kills one soul as if he killed the whole humanity, and whoever revives a soul as if he revived the whole humanity"

Each verse you mentioned has its own explanation and a valid explanation. those extermists who use Islam as an excuse to harm innocent people are ignorant of the religion, they are hijacking Islam from its proper practice and from its proper people.

I gave you my peace of mind, I hope you do not have grudge on Islam because of the few, ignorant

whether you believe or not, it is up to you
