Reader comment on item: Bridges TV, a Wife's Beheading, and Honor Murder

Submitted by Hamed Hamad (United States), Jun 11, 2012 at 17:58

I was interviewed by this station back in 2007 and ended up speaking with the killer mentioned above and his late wife.

Can you believe that they showed me my desk, welcomed me to the station and even wanted to keep me overnight before I drove back to Cleveland the next day. I said, "Thank you, but there's no need for that. Salary is always negotiable and we can talk about that over the phone. Don't trouble yourself by keeping me overnight, it's just a 3-hour drive."

So off I went and apparently became history. They never called me back nor responded to my emails or messages. About 2 years later, I was in California and read the headline AOL news, "Tragedy at local New York TV station."

I thank God every day that that was NOT meant to be. But I can't believe that I actually spoke to this madman, this disgusting murderer. Needless to say, may God rest her soul and thank God I was never there.
