freedom of religion is important.

Reader comment on item: Bridges TV, a Wife's Beheading, and Honor Murder

Submitted by timmytanker (United States), Feb 16, 2009 at 12:54

We all believe in freedom of religion. So, aren't they free to practise their religion? Their wives all believe. Can we take away their freedom because we think we're better? If this were a real problem with women, we'd be hearing about it from those who've been an important part of Women's Liberation.

When they start to say that wife-beheading is wrong, then we can take it seriously. Until then, we should consider it as a "cultural difference".
