"...Muzzamil Hassan's family including his parents and brothers never tried to help Aasiya. Even when he had hit her and bruised her body badly in front of them."...

It clearly sounds to me that his family was far long supporting his violence. Not only supporting, but also encouraging through silence, in the same way Honor Killings are supported and encouraged in Islamic driven societies.

Aasiya Z. Hassan was better dead that alive instrument that could demystify the holiness of Islam. And she was killed A La islamic manners.

It was an honor killing.
