Reader comment on item: Bridges TV, a Wife's Beheading, and Honor Murder

Submitted by Al Capone (United States), Feb 28, 2009 at 16:13

1500 years ago before Islam came to the Arabs in about 600 AD the Arabs tribes used to bury their new born if the new born was baby girl because they believed girls could bring shame to their families

this is rooted in the Arab community and a lot of grandparents and parents who still live there have the same believe that women can bring shame to families by running a way with a strange man or committing adultery or having sex out side marriage, and considering Arabs come from and lived in the desert all these centuries it only helped to hardened their hears to become a sword nation, and since men only worked out the desert , they had control over women welfare

when Islam came, Mohd couldn't change the middle east mentality even he managed to stop burying newborn baby girls but even in the Quran it says the "Arab "Beddwin of the desert" are the more mischievous and infidels than the unbelievers ".

I think it's unfair to accuse a religion of what ever its believers commit so why don't we praise Islam for what the murdered wife did for her community

I grow up as a Muslim and I hated Judaism because of Islam and then I hated Islam because of Christianity and finally I hate Christianity because of its believer's hypocrisy

Every one thinks he is right and his faith is right because its testament that he made the right choice and has a better brain
