NPR's Al Qaeda "Officials"

Reader comment on item: [Beslan Atrocity:] They're Terrorists - Not Activists

Submitted by John (United States), Sep 27, 2004 at 14:15

September 27, 2004

I almost flew outta my seat while listening to NPR radio this morning. They were discussing the Pakistan gun battle that killed terrorist leader, Amjad Hussain Farooqi, and they addressed him as an Al Qaeda Official!

That goes beyond being impartial. They are giving terrorists credibility by promoting them as public officials. Is appeasement gaining a foothold in the USA?
