Thank you for that revealing article. This whole issue drives me bananas. The only constant is that Palestinians are never called terrorists, execept sometimes on Fox.

However, since Ha'aretz also calls them "militants", the foreign media has a fig leaf for its own use of the word. The networks will use the term "terrorist" sometimes when US casualties are involved.

I have it on unimpeachable contact within the foreign media in Israel, that it is a given that perception of reporting that is sympathetic to Israel removes any chance of advancement in the profession, and may actually be a career ender.
