How can the West like Orthodox Christians if the final aim of the big game going on at present is the control of Orthodox Russia and her enormous natural resources ? You first isolate your main enemy by weakening him and eliminating his friends and allies and strike when he is too weak and alone to resist.

To me the West and especially America seem to have reached the stage which ancient Rome reached at the end of the Roman Republic and which Sallust summed up as follows : "In Rome everything is for sale. This Republic will perish the moment it finds a buyer rich enough to purchase it". Well, the Saudis are quite rich and they have tried to buy power in America. And I'd say not without visible success.
