AKP= A Medieval Party

Reader comment on item: Crisis in Turkey

This so-called democratic party has been in the government for eight years. During this time, with their screams for democracy trying to hold the army quiet, they slaughtered all elements which grounds the Republic System of Turkey. While doing this, AKP seemed favorable to the EU and the USA since this party have made many concessions for them. However, this bonhomie and the way of so-called democratic behaviours were only a tool for what they desire most; getting all the support they can and establishing a theocratical country where they can live like Sultans. I just cannot understand why the USA and the Europa are ignoring this fact and still support AKP?

A clear objection to whom supports AKP and who thinks "AKP was democratically chosen, so be it"; if Turkish Republic laws are broken by any party, any group or any person, they shall get what they deserved. While getting all the favours of all ignorant people, threatening the opposition, putting the favoured (but incapable) people to positions in every corporation, despite of all illegal actions; their privilege of freedom from arrest will not save AKP or Tayyip from plunging down. Neither the USA & the EU nor Fethullah Gulen.
