I am afraid you forgot just one tiny ingredient in the successful magic tale of Turkish secularism. After annihilating the minorities you buy a lot of US-made arms and promise to buy even more in exchange for a little favor - spreading your happy-making tale of secularism and protecting you from charges of genocide or human rights abuses.
