You sound like Dengir Firat, previous vice chairman of AKP, who said in an interview with NY Times that "Turks are traumatized with Ataturk's reforms".

Obviously you survived the trauma of learning to read and write, which by the way, was one of Ataturk's major reforms in a country where only 80 years ago nearly 95% of the population was illiterate.
