Don't pick on Fethullah Gulen !!

Reader comment on item: Crisis in Turkey

The Soner Cagaptay article you cite (What's Really Behind Turkey's Coup Arrests? ) was also published in Foreign Policy a few days ago. It's like a hornet's nest there. Already about 250 comments almost all sucking up to their cult leader Fethullah and bashing Cagaptay.

Actually so many Gulenists got compensated in some manner over the years that I am really surprised more did not show up. Maybe not all received their email, memo, twitter etc. yet. Let's not forget a couple of years ago when British magazine Prospect set out to identify Worlds Greatest Intellectual, all Fethullah related websites, and Zaman, the Islamist newspaper controlled by Fethullah, told readers to go to the Prospect website and vote for him, and sure enough Gulen got (or grabbed) the title of Worlds Greatest Intellectual.
