Reader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Aug 25, 2007 at 18:51

Is it possible, just possible that President Bush knows and realizes more than he publicly reveals? Maybe the President is playing poker -- I believe he very well could be. The element of surprise is a very neccessary component to war. If he were to publicly give an oration on the violent history of Islam he would be revealing to the enemy knowledge of the enemy. President Bush does not care about public opinion (polls, etc.), so I don't think he's playing to the masses. I think he's smarter than many give him credit for.......his number one goal is to protect the American people and win this war. -JS
