Very beautiful reply, but a bit hard to follow with all the pretty Biblical language. No offense. Its just that I was having trouble seeing your main point, which from what I gather is that Jesus did not order you to stay silent when evil is done. At that you are absolutely correct. However what about when Muslims are doing good deeds and righteous acts that are not evil nor counter to Christian values? Should they not be praised and encouraged? Do you believe that they follow the same God that you and the Jewish faith follows?

You know Muslims also love Jesus very much as well, they just don't regard him as God. Jehova's Witnesses fall along the same lines as well although I'm fairly certain that you don't regard them as true Christians.

At any rate, keep in mind that you don't see Muslims burning Bibles or Torahs. Although they are regarded as distortions of God's commandments in Islam, they are still regarded as containing some elements of truth in them and thus are not allowed to be destroyed.

My friend, the sermon on the mount is about as straightforward as it comes. Some have argued that Jesus was just talking about Christians, but no, this was when he only had a small number of apostles and was amongst Jews and pagans so that is not possible. So unless the Sermon on the Mount is a lie and a fabrication, then you can not ignore the commandments of Jesus Christ your savior. In doing so, perhaps on Judgement Day you will be held accountable.

When you see Muslim hatred, try responding with love and forgiveness as Christ commanded. What response can a Muslim give you without appearing truly evil and vile? If Bush, a supposedly "Christian" leader acted upon such Christian principles we most likely would not be in the mess we are in today where Al-Qaeda is stronger then ever and we have only ended up radicalizing 10 fold the Islamic world community by our invasion of Iraq.

None of us can control the destiny of mankind alone. But each of us as individuals can act with true courage by showing our enemy love, compassion, forgiveness, and true nobility. To Muslims I tell the same thing.

But who listens?

"Good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with what is better. Then he, between whom and you there was hatred, will become as though he was a bosom friend." (Qu'ran 41:34)

"Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God."-Matthew 5:9
