An unravelling

Reader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Jul 3, 2007 at 12:31

Let us do some brainstorming. The conclusion that the liberty of the prison is the fate of those who follow in the footsteps of those who stormed out of the Arabian Peninsula 1400 years ago, let us say that this is the message of the Oval Office, Downing Street, and other seats of power.

This entails the overthrow of the view that just as all roads lead to Rome, all perspectives are equal.

Needless to say, those who line up behind Mortimer Adler would be strengthened, and those who line up behind the Lion of Columbia, Professor Dewey - they would be weakened.

Thereby enlargening the battle ground, so that it isn't only the brigands vs. those who see the flaws of what was cooked up to justify conquest.
