Reader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush

Submitted by j (United States), Jul 4, 2007 at 11:28

Overcoming bias, is a slow....process. While the report on the Islamic Center rededication by George Bush was examined with the blind-regurgitation of George Bush's Machiavellian abilities to justify the means used with the ends produced, even when those ends have pretty much become established as confused at best and not achieved at all at worst, it was good to finally see a tiny little peek into realism when even D. Pipes could not ignore that even Bush's rhetoric is no longer strong, committed or outcome oriented. Of course, D. Pipes only gave a lukewarm sigh in the form of saying, "... Mr. Bush has retreated to safer ground...." and of course, he only said this by way of excusing such retreat based on Mr. Bush's twilight in politics, but change comes slowly.
