Freedom From Confusion

Reader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush
in response to reader comment: I am confused

After commemorating the freedom expressed in the American Independence holiday, this reader is compelled to extend the thought further, and maybe more clearly than the confusion presented by the President, on just what we are facing in this world as it heats itself up in preparation for self destruction. And to the reader who thinks we would be the ones to declare war on Islam in general, that has already been done, and certain followers of Islam were the ones who did so. They responded to the call of their Prophet to bring the world into submission, by any means, and by that instruction, have been doing so ever since.

The battle against forces who claim Islam for the cause of their intentions did not start with September 11, 2001, or the World Trade Center in 1993, or the Khobar Towers, or the Marines in bivouac in Lebanon in 1983 or other actions less than forty years ago. All of the antipathies started in the seventh century culminated in May 1948, when in response to the re-establishment of the Hebrew Nation, the entirety of the Arab world, indeed the entire Muslim presence in the world, declared their need to reject the Israeli people and expel them from the land.

Compounding this and adding fuel to the fire of their hatred, their attempt in 1967 to push the Israeli's out cost them the West Bank and the Temple Mount. They have been trying ever since to bring the West Bank under Muslim control, though, ironically, they do have control of the Mount under the Waqf. All of this has been under a tacit and declared state of war.

The confusion is not theirs, for they know what they are called to do, to bring the world under submission to their Prophet. The confusion is ours, for the western mindset does not comprehend this as anything more than maybe a minor misunderstanding, as some would put it, and it is going to be the undoing of all who will not fall under the control of Islam.

There are three things to be seen in the midst of this confusion. First, America, and those who side with her on the last remaining ideal of supporting Israel in her troubles, is perceived by those who follow the advancing mindset of the religious leadership in Iran and elsewhere as an obstacle to overtaking and regaining al-Quds. Second, Israel remains in the land, and is the remaining human obstacle in retaking al-Quds. Third, but not last, is the final remaining obstacle and the one that will remain so, that of Israel's final defense, her reliance upon her Sovereign LORD. The confusion will end when He acts.

Let us be clear. The proponents of Islam will carry this to the very end. Eventually, allegiance will be required of all, if not by conversion, then by subjugation. We have seen already, that if either of these two is not carried out, then death is already mandated. By that time, the difference between moderate and fundamental Islam will have merged.

By that time, Americans will not be wrangling over a democratic or republican presidential candidate under constitutional law or allegiance to the flag, but over allegiance to who will protect them from death if they do not submit. Here one finds the last bit of clarification, that the only way to escape this situation is to pray to the only One who offers salvation and freedom, Jesus Christ. Pray and ask Him for forgiveness of the sin of your unbelief, for all our sins, and to enter into your heart by the power of His love and His Holy Name. That is the lesson we need to learn from Jesus Christ, to remove the confusion, to believe on the LORD Jesus Christ and seek His truth in freedom away from this worlds' confusion. Then there will be no confusion regarding Islam.
