Reader comment on item: [The Road Map:] Learning from Oslo

Submitted by Paul M. Neville (United States), Jun 11, 2003 at 18:39

I don't believe there are enough Palestinians who want peace with Israel to reach critical mass. Should the new PM seek to enforce the road map he would be killed. He will probably resign soon.

Israel with US support must clean out the PA leadership and then wall off the West Bank and Gaza, letting the Arabs and Europeans support them. Arafat should be arrested and tried in the US for the killing of a US diplomat in Africa. The undefensable settlements must be withdrawn and settlers relocated.

This basically is a let them stew in their own juices plan.
