Mr. Pipes,

So far Abbas has shown the same disdain for the so called "peace process" as Arafat.
He has said he will not use force to stop Hamas or any of the other terrorist entities acting with impunity in the Gaza or West Bank.
The only way to secure peace in the Middle East is to allow Israel to defend herself as vigourously as she can. When the last terrorist is dead, perhaps then Israel will be safe.
