I read this article just now and felt like weeping at your prescience. But please explain to me and your other readers why the President (and the UN) failed to express "disappointment," "dismay," or whatever concerning the joint attack on Israelis by Hamas, Al Aksa Martyr's Brigade, and Islamic Jihad but expressed these sentiments when Israel attempted to stop the attacks by destroying the head attacker? Also, please explain why the road map-and all the other road maps-hold as parallel allowing Arabs calling themselves Palestinians to work and/or live in Israel and forbidding Israelis to work and/or live in the lands on the W Bank and Gaza?
Most important, why are we still using terms that are prejudicial against Israel? Why does no one ask Israel and the representatives of the Arabs who want to live in a Palestinian state to exchange peace for peace? There are no other parallels but peace for peace. While I am asking questions, I would like to add one more: Why is no one, as far as I know, discussing the fact that the Arab Palestinians, as opposed to the Jewish Palestinians, are either Muslim or Christian. Thus, there are many countries where they can go to practice their religions in peace. Cannot the people of the world expect that there are many nations that would welcome their brethren to pray and work and join them in citizenship? The world has seen how many countries welcome Jews as fellow citizens. If not Israel, where can Jews go to practice in peace and acceptance? Why is no one pointing out that there is one--only one--Jewish nation?
Thank you for allowing my questions.
