aw shucksReader comment on item: [Looting:] An Iraqi Tragedy Submitted by Carol Roberts (United States), Apr 23, 2003 at 11:43 Gee, you would have thought that our soldiers could have dashed through the supposedly enemy-held city ignoring snipers, suicide bombers, possible soldiers of the Republican Guard and stood guard on the (probably ) already looted buildings. I thought the Left opposed the war with Iraq because of the possibility of all those body bags......now, they prefer buildings and artifacts to soldier's lives??? As usual, the Left puts the blame for misdeeds on anyone other than the perpetrators and if, their own country is anywhere in the equation then, we did it. The logic is tortured, the lack of intelligence of our Academic community is pitiful.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
