Good Article, Great Work

Dear Prof. Pipes--

Excellent column on the destruction of the Iraqi National Museum, which holds--surprise, surprise--Iraqis responsible for their own behavior (blaming the U.S. would be, as the column pointed out, condescension bordering on racism). Also, I greatly enjoy your website; it is always good to read your well reasoned and well articulated views.

One more thing--after being alerted by another website (Jewish World Review), I emailed the White House supporting Pres. Bush's decision to appoint you to the U.S. Peace Institute. I think that you would be an excellent selection, and I am disturbed at the attacks on your character that pro-Islamist groups are mounting. Keep up the good work!
