Also in 1939 at the start of the war, the Louvre had done the same. Ergo, people in charge of a museum should have "thought" of that or wanted to do that. Even in Baghdad.2) I watched your excellent interview on C Span this morning. Some callers mentioned poverty in the Middle East among Arab populations as the "root" cause of terrorism.B ut these initiators of terrorism we have become familiar with, were rather well fed, well off Islamists. Although you probably know the answer, I have a question: Isn't the hatred for the USA caused by the fear that American influence will undermine a feudal system these middle class members of the bourgeoisie want to preserve at any cost?
