The Education of Karen HughesReader comment on item: Winning the Propaganda War [versus Radical Islam] Submitted by Peter Jones (United States), Dec 28, 2005 at 13:14 I was appalled when Pres, Bush had Karen Hughes go to Chicago to address the IISNA.ANY such acknowledgement from the US Govt that ISNA is in anyway legitimate, or other than an arm of Islamist terrorism and a major fundraiser for it is, to say the least, a major strategic error. I wonder everyday whether any government agency is keeping track of the ISNA Hq in Plainfield, IN. My inquiries to the local FBI are routinely met with a loud silence or some cliche expression meant to make the public feel better. Karen H is in most respects a rather sharp individual, or appears to be.But, it will probably take an attack on US soil, Again, for the suicidal PC response to be replaced by an understanding of what Islam truly is and where it has been headed for these 1400 years. Unhappily the Koran is jammed with direct support for all the horrors that Islam has visited upon the Western world. Why doesn't anybody give Bat Ye'or ( Euro-Arab Dialogue and AG Bosom ( ed. of The Legacy of Jihad ) a wide forum? The "intellectual" refusniks that I must contend with live by the New York Times and Public Radio.{ I hope that making public the 1400-year agenda of Islam does not fall victim to the editorial Exacto knife} Peter G.
