Completely agree with Dr. Pipes..Reader comment on item: Winning the Propaganda War [versus Radical Islam] Submitted by M Saleem Akhtar (United States), Dec 28, 2005 at 09:53 Muslim populations in general are living in ignorance and hypocrisy. There is a general lack of education as well as low IQ levels in most muslim countries. There is a tendency among muslim mainstream (people as well as press) to look at any issue with one-sidedness.I agree with Dr. Pipes that conspiracy theories, unfortunately, are very common in muslim countries. The local press is also to be blamed. One cannot find many muslim authors who have foresightedness/courage to analyse issues both ways except for may be some journalists in Pakistan/India. I dont think there is any leader of any muslim country who is taking bold steps to eradicate backwardness and ignorance among the muslim population.
