Hollywood needs to get on board with this

Reader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam

Submitted by Johnny Carpati (United States), Nov 13, 2005 at 23:18

Not all Hollywood films are leftist trash. In "The Lion King," Scar represents our incompetent governments on the West and the U.N. who've let the hyenas in the prideland. Or if you're a horror fan, in "Halloween" Donald Pleasance plays a psychiatrist who realizes the liberal values and procedures of his profession don't apply to a nemesis with "No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong." (Here's one I don't even have to explain: "Fatal Attraction.") Hollywood could come up with good stuff about Islamism if they really tried, but they're too politically correct right now to do it. What's funny is, they ignore all these complaints about their left wing positions by mainstream America, but drop to their knees as soon as these insurgents at CAIR open their mouths. The political correctness and leftism of Hollywood is far more damaging than all the sex and violence, and there are signs that they can do much better.
