As the Pendulum Swings

Reader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam

The Soap Opera playing out on the World's Stage depicts an aging civilization, fighting to retain its influence in the world, while challenged by a rising (Crescent and ) Star. The Aging Civilization has been changed from within over the last 80 years by a vocal minority of left wing socialists who, in the name of equality and freedom, infiltrated and dominated the educational and intellectual communities.

The Aging population, educated and influenced by this left wing minority, assimilated their left wing dogma and became unable and unwilling to challenge the rising star because they perceived it to be unfair and against their principles. They also became apathetic because their left wing education convinced them that it wasn't their responsibility to challenge their attackers. After 15 years of of worldwide attacks on the Aging Civilization by the rising star, a few voices began to openly challenge this threat, but is it too little too late? Will the Aging Civilization awake in time to maintain its position, or will the rising star force the aging population into obscurity? Stay Tuned!!

And thank you, Daniel Pipes, for being one of the vocal few who is willing to challenge this threat to world freedom.
