Islamic terrorism shown in TV entertainmentReader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam Submitted by Gary Newman (Israel), Jan 9, 2005 at 01:08 Dear Mr. Pipes,I've been waiting for an article on the above topic, since we in Israel have been shown the TV series "The Agency" (about the CIA) for the last ½ year (more or less). At least ¾'s of the programs have been about some aspect of Islamic terrorism, and the "good guys" always seem to win in the end. I must say that I sleep better at night after having watched the weekly installment, which frequently (though not always) manages to surprise the viewer. I guess I sound like a real right winger, but actually I'm a disillusioned left winger and see no end to the conflict that has gone on for much of the last 1,400 years. Keep up the good work.
