Dhimmitude and liberty?Reader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Jan 25, 2005 at 04:37 Dear Prof Pipes,If those want to "enjoy" dhimmitude, they can do so at the ultimate cost to their liberty. I congratulate Fox for showing (Islamic) terrorism programmes. I shall tirelessly repeat that Muslims cannot express objectively unless they come out of their Islamic shell. I would like to add my comment on your Weblog of 1st January 2005 thus: Nihad Ahad of CAIR talks, inter alia, of religious freedom. May I ask if a Muslim has the freedom to desert the faith? And what are the religious freedoms available to the non-Muslims in Muslim dominated/Islamic countries? Muslims cannot have both ways.( Have the cake and eat it too) Regards, Sincerely, S.C.Panda Prof Daniel Pipes, Director, MEF Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
