Muslim stereotypingReader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam Submitted by D. D. Stetson (United States), Jan 25, 2005 at 14:52 If, as a recent poster avers, American Muslims are "just plain folks" and less than 1% are radicals who despise America, where are they? C.A.I.R. is boisterous in defense of anything even hinting at a negative portrayal of Muslims. Where is the Muslim group that expresses outrage at the cutting-off of heads, at burning bodies and hanging them from bridges, of bombing churches while chanting "Allahu Akbar"? What amount of horror will be perpetrated in the name of their god before they -- those Muslims who are "just plain folks" -- will say enough?Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
