Where are the voices of the moderate muslins????

I agree- we keep hearing how the average Muslim is a religious, peace loving person who is against terrorism, murder of innocents,etc.etc

However where in the world are they? -why dont they speak out to condemn those acts they supposedly oppose? I have heard a few speak out-so many are silent. Is there really such a person as a Muslim-American?
