Wake up Mr. President

Reader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam

Submitted by Harold Homefield (United States), Jan 6, 2005 at 22:28

Bravo! It's about time that we stopped worrying about political correctness, from the

President down to the average American. While there are probably many muslims who

don't like the Islamic militants, the facts seem to speak for themselves. For example,

who tried to destroy the world trade center building several years before September eleventh?

Who committed the atrocities of September eleventh and who paid the families of the

suicide bombers? Who is paying for the current crop of suicide bombers in Iraq and in

the Palestinian territory ? ...

Does all this justify racial profiling? While this procedure may seem intolerable under

normal peace-time conditions, I believe that, even if it unjustly hurts the innocent, our

great country must protect its citizens, unless we accept another September eleventh

before our President and Congress wake up.
