The Black Hole of Hollywood

Reader comment on item: "24" and Hollywood's Discovery of Radical Islam

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Jan 6, 2005 at 20:38

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of the useless irrelevant pictures coming out of Hollywood. They're remaking old films, rewriting history or burying the reality that faces us today. I've never seen such cowardice in my life.

Today's Hollywood hero, the rotound Michael Moore, is a favorite among those in Hamas and of course the French whose government controlled Cannes Film Festival, an arm of the French Foreign Ministry saw fit to give Farenheit 9/11 an award. He created a film that was in the least a pack of lies and at the worst a diatribe against America and homage to the Islamic terrorists.

During World War II Hollywood rose to the occasion with its fabulous depiction of the battles and the successes of our soldiers and our efforts to defeat the fascists. Today Hollywood has descended into the abyss of an event horizon in which nothing -- and I mean nothing -- is relevant.

Hollywood may have won the hearts and minds of the leftist loving terrorists along with the terrorists themselves, but I for one would never ever pay to see another Hollywood movie.

The denizens of tinsel town have so besmirched the America, its people and its president that that whatever character they play will never transcend their anti-Americanism. Let them pander to the Islamic terrorists who, if they were in power would kill every actor, director and producer in the film business.

Perhaps we expect too much from people so bereft of brains that they need a script to make any sense whatever.
