For the readers:

The Saudis and muslim majority countries want a law that would make it illegal to insult or to even disapprove of religions and this is what is called ازدراء الاديان or izdira' al-adyan or disapproving and insulting of religions and here is meaning of the word izdira' http://www.almaany.com/home.php?language=arabic&word=%D8%A7%D8%B2%D8%AF%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1&lang_name=English

As for the word al-adyan it means the religions

But as usual there are many problems with such fascist law:

1. Which religions are we talking about? Muslims tell us that they are الاديان السماوية or al-adyan al-samawiyya or those religions that come from heaven/sky and read this as Islam as excepted, Judaism and Christianity!

Not Hindusim or Buddhism or Jainism or Sikhism! which means that such fascist law would not cover the religions of 1/5 of humanity

2. It means that the first book that would be declared as insulting of other adyan samawiyya or Christianity and Judaism would be the Qur'an! And the Saudis such fact very well so the good news is I do not see such law in at least the near future

But again Islamic hypocrisy has no limit
