Dear Dr Pipes:

Your reader Said Charif Ennassiri while acknowledging that some "non-devout muslim fools" might be converting out of Islam, also implies that not many followers of Islam are leaving Islam.

I think that in the current circumstances the lack of conversion out of Islam is not a measure of how satisfied people are with Islam. Give them freedom to study, give them freedom to think, give them freedom to express and vote, give women freedom to look around, give them freedom to explore other religions, and then see if some people choose to convert.
