Juan-- No violence in Quran? And only as defense?

Sorry Juan but we're all stocked up on Muslim apologists here. Try for one honest moment to acknowledge that there is a MAJOR loophole in your claim that the Quran is not violent because it advocates only defensive violence.

First, there is a serious contradiction here since there were dozens of battles waged, wars and death, torture of prisoners etc by Mohamed as written in the Quran, cited alongside the so called peaceful verses that you seem to believe you can sell. Facts are simply facts.

Second, and more importantly, the definition of the word DEFENSE is the source of the problem here and is something you would do well to ponder. If Muslims consider all lands Muslim, then all wars are defensive wars. If Muslims consider any action by another country or non-Muslim as aggressive, then all killing is permissible, presto!

So stop trying to convince people of something that you yourself do not understand, Juan.
