trans-parere, negative opinions express a positive point of viewReader comment on item: How to Turn Gaza Over to Egypt Submitted by Infidel (Canada), Feb 13, 2008 at 13:47 Thank you for correcting me. I now understand that when you make a statement, you actually mean the opposite. While I've accepted your previous writings as an intention of stating your view or opinion, I now understand that when you make a statement, you actually mean the opposite; thus, "Israel does not have the victim identity", means that they are victims;" Israel is the aggressor state", means they are not the aggressor state; "that they are constantly attacking their neighbors;" means they are not attacking. This of course, is rather an unusual method of writing, however now that you've corrected me, I will view your writings from a new and unusual perspective. What really fooled me, is that I've read a number of your articles and noted that you had a rather negative opinion of the Jews. Can you tell me whether your previous articles used the same approach, that is your negative statements were meant to be positive? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
