What is Egypt's record when it comes to human rights?Reader comment on item: How to Turn Gaza Over to Egypt Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Feb 8, 2008 at 22:28 Expecting Egypt to keep the hotheads in check is the same as expecting the sun to rise in the west and set in the east. The model between Muslim factions is this: periods of intensity when there is blood-letting, and in between them, an uneasy ceasefire. As long as Arab Aryanism continues to exude its poison, all that will be accomplished are more and more papers on what to do would be implemented and then they would gather dust. For Egypt's record when it comes to human rights might be the best in the Mid East, except for Israel, but that has about as much significance as to what is the tallest building in any ghost town.
