Dumping Gaza on Egypt

Reader comment on item: How to Turn Gaza Over to Egypt
in response to reader comment: Dumping Gaza on Egypt plays right into the Muslim Brotherhood's hand.

Doc, you maybe overlooking an important aspect of turning Gaza over to Egypt.

On March 26, 1979, Egypt entered into a peace agreement with Israel. Should Gaza be given over to Egypt, then the Egyptians would be required to stop Hamas from attacking Israel in order to continue the peace agreement.

Dr. Pipes therefore is absolutely correct in proposing the transfer of Gaza to Egypt.
