Right to Return to PalestineReader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return" Submitted by Edward Halper (United States), Jan 14, 2008 at 20:57 It just may be that Bush is offering the Palestinians a face saving way to interpret the "right of return" that they have so long sought: they would have the right to "return" to the state of Palestine, not to Israel. This would be surely inevitable in any two-state solution. The people who will really object to this version of the right of return are the Palestinians. Their insistence of "returning" to Israel has long been a transparent attempt to undermine the Israel as a Jewish state.
