Reader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return"
in response to reader comment: Zionism with conditions

I'm curious Mr. Harrak, whether you are offended by the Arab Republic of Egypt or the Arab Republc of Syria, the official titles of both of these countries. Is everyone in Egypt and Syria an Arab or are these states officially trumping the rights of its minorities to recognition? How about the crescent moon on the flags of Turkey and Pakistan? Does that symbol accurately reflect the beliefs of all of the citizens in these countries? I don't think so.

If having a Star of David offends Muslims and Arabs so much then lead the way by changing your flags from having the red, black, white, and green colors of racist pan-Arabism. Take away the officially Arab titles from their names and remove crescents from those flags bearing them. All of those symbols represent to the world who can and who will hold power in those countries and it certainly can't be a non-Arab and/or non-Muslim.

"It is not acceptable these days that someone makes a state based on a racist and religious approach.."

- Sure it is. The state will be called Palestine and it will be purely Arab and almost 100% Muslim.
