Return of Terror

Reader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return"

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Jan 20, 2008 at 01:07

The "right of return"? Return of what? Having suicide bombs go off on school buses, in lobbies of hotels, during weddings, at streetside cafes? Why doesn't our President recognize the truly historical, un-precidented, gargantuan efforts on the part of Israel to secure herself? What magic wand will wave, and erase generational Palestinian hatred, if and when a Palestinian state is established?

That's all they want? That will satisfy them? That will absolve their hatred toward Jews, preached in Palestinian mosques, Palestinian classrooms; Palestinian terrorists will just go away?

Creation of a Palestinian state is nothing less than rewarding terrorism. The creatures that benefit will only be strengthened and their numbers will vastly increase, and their dream of making Israel an Islamic as well as Palestinian state will be energized as never before.

I have respect for President Bush, but his words on this subject are at best ignorant, and at worst, abhorrent.
