Exchange right of return Jews to Arab countries

Reader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return"

Submitted by Rachel Garber (United States), Jan 14, 2008 at 06:52

I read this last night from JTA. According to Sir Martin Gilbert's "Routledges Atlas of Jewish History", 935,000 Jews were forced out of Arab nations after 1948. These countries include Yemen, Aden, Morocco, Libya, Algeria, Syria and Egypt. I think that is a great idea, as long as there is a provision that allows up to 50,000 Jews, who wish to return to their respective homelands, to do so.

Of course, no one ever hears about or talks about these Arab Jews, because Israel absorbed them into her society., unlike the Jordanians and other countries, who refused to allow the so-called Palestinians to become citizens of their respective countries. Israel, the Americans and the rest of the world were allowed to believe this myth, and finally along comes a representative of the American people who would force this down the Israeli's throat. And of course we have an Israeli PM who will do anything. WHEN IS THIS GOVERNMENT GOING TO BE BROUGHT DOWN???!!! By the way: Note to GWB, don't go to Israel for her 60th anniversary. We don't want you there!!!
