Reader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return"

Submitted by CONFUSED (Canada), May 23, 2008 at 17:10

Has anyone seen the Movie "KEDMA" BY AMOS GITAI VIEWED AT CANNES FILM FESTIVAL ?

IT SHOWS ARABS' UNWILINGNESS TO LIVE WITH JEWS AND FLEEING FROM THEIR HOMES. I THEREFORE HAVE A HARD TIME TO UNDERSTAND THE RIGHT OF RETURN. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

IN COMPARISON, A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW IN OTTO PREMINGER'S MOVIE "EXODUS', JEWS WANT TO LIVE PEACEFULLY WITH THE ARABS, BUT IT APPEARS THAT THE RADICALS AMONG ARABS ARE UNWILLING TO ACCEPT "JEWS" BY THEIR SIDE. SO COMING BACK TO THE QUESTION OF "RIGHT TO RETURN" WHERE DO THE ARABS WANT LIVE AND WHAT ABOUT THE JEWS WHOSE ANCESTORS LIVED THERE FROM KINGDOM COME?
