A Rude Awakening

Reader comment on item: Bush Promotes a Palestinian "Right of Return"

Submitted by Herb Stone (United States), Jan 14, 2008 at 21:25

I must admit that I too was under the impression that Pres. Bush was the best U.S. president regarding policy towards Israel but this article shocked me. I have always despised James Baker with a passion and was extremely disappointed when Bush appointed him as co-chairman of the Iraq study group. I was never too fond of Hamilton either.

That should have been my wake up call. I could never understand Bush's financial grants in cash and armaments to Egypt while their state controlled media demonized the U.S. nor his grants to Arafat's disciple Abbas. What a rude awakening!!!

Keep up the good work.

All the best.
